Membership dues for certain classes will be prorated in first year of membership. In such cases, the amount due will be provided by the Membership Coordinator
Brewery | – Owns and operates an active brewing facility located in a county abutting Lake Michigan. – Is the named individual or entity on a valid Brewer’s Notice issued by the TTB for production at the qualifying brewing facility. – Has an annual beer production of less than two (2) million barrels at all facilities combined. – Is known to be operating in conformity with good business practices and all relevant ordinances, rules, and laws.- Eligible to vote on all Guild matters that require a vote of the members. – Eligible to attend all Guild meetings.* – Eligible to be elected to the Board of Directors. – Eligible to serve on committees. – Early sign-up / discounted table fee for all Guild festivals.Cooperative advertising with fellow guild members. |

Brewery In Planning | – Any individual or entity that will qualify as a brewery member after it commences business operations. – Must provide documentation demonstrating that it has begun applying for the required federal and state licenses.- Eligible to be elected to the Board of Directors. – Eligible to serve on committees. – Cooperative advertising with fellow guild members. – Discounted entry for all Guild festivals. |

Allied Retail | – Owns and operates a business that sells beer at retail in a county abutting Lake Michigan. – Holds a valid liquor license authorizing the sale of such beer. – Sells beer brewed by one or more eligible Brewery Members. – Is known to be operating in conformity with good business practices and all relevant ordinances, rules, and laws.- Eligible to be elected to the Board of Directors. – Eligible to serve on committees. – Discounted entry for all Guild festivals. – First rights to discounted sponsorship opportunities for the Guild and Guild festivals. – Listing on the Guild’s website. |

Affiliate | – Any individual or entity that provides services, goods, or supplies to the brewing industry (commercial or home brewing) or to an allied industry or to endeavors including brewery associations and brew clubs.
– Eligible to be elected to the Board of Directors. |
Depends on Nature of the Business | |
Enthusiast | – Any individual who is a craft beer enthusiast.
– Eligible to serve on committees. |
